of dataSentinel is actually pretty simple. You visit our web site from any computer,
optionally plug in a dataSentinel USB stick, enter
your password, and all of your files are available for you to work with. It's as if your
computer is with you everywhere you go, but without having to lug it around.
That's it for your part; you can go on with your work. And
we'll go on with ours. We'll split up your files into small blocks, replicate them three
times, encrypt them so that they're impossible
for other people to read, and then store them on servers strategically
placed across North America. But then, to be even more safe,
we constantly monitor those servers. In the
unlikely event of anything ever going wrong or getting corrupted,
our systems instantly and automatically create new copies of the blocks of your files
on other servers. Your files are always safe across the network and yet hidden from
anyone but you. Of course, you may choose to share some of these files with others.
You can do that too.
Your data will be safe and secure on our servers,
and instantly accessible to you whenever and wherever you go. Even if your computer
crashes, is stolen, or gets destroyed in a fire, every file
that you backed up is immediately available to you by simply
operating any computer on the Internet. We can
